Karmala Merino and Working Kelpie Studs: For Sale

With the help of Matt Bignell I am at last able to offer some young, well started dogs/bitches for sale. The first of these is Karmala Colonel(Cooper) who has been doing a power of mustering at Goondiwindi with Matt. He works with a big prime lamb operation and large mobs of ewes and lambs are handled, along with weaned lambs, etc. Cooper has been doing most of the mustering work with Matt’s older dog. He will bark up in the yards and has been tried on cattle a few times when he showed willingness to nose bite…he would need back up on cattle to start off with.
Recently he has had valuable experience mustering lambs out of flood waters, something both Cooper and Matt could have done without!
Coops is being sold to make way for other youngsters. See photos below.

Riana DeltaD was mated to Tracker Gibbs, whelped August 16.
Delta has a nice litter of 6. Three of these pups are being retained.

Brandy is due on Dec 2 to Tracker Gibbs. Possibly one of the most promising bitches bred here, Brandy has been ‘kept in cotton wool’ in case she came to grief before I got some pups from her. This litter is eagerly awaited and should be pretty special judging by Delta’s litter to Gibbs.
Brandy whelped 8 pups, 4 males, 4 females, all neat black/tans.

Peggysue is due to Gibbs on Dec 5 and Lily on Dec. 7. Both these bitches have produced some very handy workers on both cattle and sheep and Gibbs should leave pups just as good, if not better.

I took advantage of David Hart’s kind offer to let me have Gibbs here while he went to America and he had a great time!

Scout looking rather dozy after delivering her pups by CS. A very big cream boy tried to get out first...backwards...and caused a traffic jam! He weighed over 500g.

The TrackerXTilly litter at 4 1/2 wks are nice friendly little pups. They should be versatile dogs that will work sheep or cattle, with good mustering skills.

Karra. Gift with her four pups delivered by C/S, 21-6-10. An old injury had caused complications. These pups will be her last; hopefully the dog pup will be as relaxed in his work as he is now!

Brandi has progressed to cattle work!

After unsuccessfully hunting around all over for a good RianaX dog to mate Delta to I decided to mate her to Benny. Her litter to K.Glen look promising but need more time for assessment as they’re just starting to work.
Most clients require dogs that will work both sheep and cattle, and I am trying to get a little more calm strength.

Three nice pups by Glendon Benny from Riana DeltaD, Bender, Benz and Blue Velvet. Benz is available, should make a nice sheepdog. He's a lovely pup and very responsive, possibly a bit sensitive for some handlers.
