I find it almost impossible to believe the year is half over! Already! Many I speak to say the same. As the years fly by it becomes a lot clearer that it’s essential to enjoy every moment while we can.
Some more rain during the month and a warmer than usual start to winter, the frosts holding off and no very severe ones as yet. The garden picked up dramatically, flowers all over and no more leaves falling for a few weeks. I’ve been grateful for the weather, little pups don’t need severe cold and they’re big enough to do without heat lamps now. The bitches are all happily coming on heat at the same time, as usual, but will likely miss the severe cold when they whelp.
The Cash x Karma pups are starting to move on, a super easy litter despite the size…Karma has done so well.
Gossip has been eating like there’s no tomorrow and also drinking a heap, no wonder her pups are growing so quickly. She whelped on the last day of May, just a few photos to show how fast they grow up.

Rydal Mace (Rosebank Wally x Karmala Minx) is down with Greg Kings at present to learn his way isn’t the only one. He’s a smart pup and will work it out, in this vid he’s started to trot which is a sign of him calming down. He’s made a lot of progress in a short time and I’m hoping his work is up to scratch because he’s a delightful boy. For vid of Mace holding sheep to Greg click on “5”.
Valli(Jack x Vamp) is settling into a handy type without her dam’s extra bit of style. Vamp will be mated to another very good dog of Selwyn Brown’s this week via TCI. Gil had a huge presence and was very good both in the yards and outside, he’s from Phil O’Bree but his pedigree is a bit obscure so just hoping he clicks with Vamp who’s exceptional. Kweni has been run on from the Riana NedII x Speedy litter, it was fun to get these photos of her brother Kwapa.
